WALAA SALLUM
Walaa Sallum is originally from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She graduated from Sacred Heart University in December 2017, receiving a Master's | Degree in Communication with a concentration on Digital Multimedia Production.
She has had a number of internship experiences as a photojournalist and video editor, working as a journalist and video editor for WSHU Public Radio and a filmmaker with the documentary organization, Vision Project.
Walaa has developed a wide variety of skills as a photographer, videographer, and video editor, with experience in all of the related software. She has the ability to use his craft to document the world around her in a way that brings awareness and insight to the viewer.
Walaa earned her Bachelors in Communications from King Abdulaziz University in 2012. While an undergraduate, she completed two internships with Mix FM, one of the most popular radio station in Saudi Arabia, and held several leadership positions after she graduated.
Bilingual in English and Arabic, she also has experience working as a Digital Marketing Planner for two years in which she developed strong organizational skills.
